I'm gifted with a picturesque memory. The images of the sun-ripened, red shiny tomatoes, purple plump eggplants and bright orange carrots, from my Mom's garden, still have a vivid picture in my head, to this day...This is an extract from a writing entry I submitted to a gardening magazine in Canada. It wasn't selected but it's okay. I will keep on writing!
